First Round of Master's Degree Admissions 2022

... - Candidates with a university degree in a related or different field than the one they are applying for must complete supplementary courses before participating in the selection process.

- University degrees awarded by foreign educational institutions must undergo recognition procedures according to current regulations.

1.2.2. Regarding Foreign Language Proficiency

a) Vietnamese citizens must have a foreign language proficiency level of 3 or higher according to the 6-level Foreign Language Proficiency Framework for Vietnam if they possess one of the following degrees or certificates:

- A university degree or higher in a foreign language; or a university degree or higher where the program is primarily conducted in a foreign language;

- A university degree or higher awarded by Duy Tan University within the last two years where the program's output meets the foreign language requirement of level 3 or higher according to the 6-level Foreign Language Proficiency Framework for Vietnam;

- One of the foreign language diplomas or certificates equivalent to Level 3 or higher according to the 6-level Foreign Language Proficiency Framework for Vietnam as stipulated in the Appendix of Circular 23/2021/TT-BGDĐT dated August 30, 2021, of the Minister of Education and Training, or other equivalent certificates published by the Ministry of Education and Training, within 2 years (24 months) from the date of application (Appendix).

- Applicants who meet the above foreign language proficiency requirements but whose foreign language is not English must be able to communicate in English in their professional field (able to express professional issues to others in English and understand others presenting professional issues in English).

b) In case the applicant does not meet the foreign language entrance requirements as stipulated in point a), they must participate in the English entrance exam equivalent to level B1 - European Framework at Duy Tan University.

c) Foreign applicants applying for master's programs taught in Vietnamese must achieve a Vietnamese language proficiency level of at least Level 4 according to the Vietnamese Language Proficiency Framework for Foreigners, or have graduated from a university (or equivalent or higher) where the program is taught in Vietnamese; and meet the requirements for a second foreign language as stipulated by Duy Tan University.

1.2.3. Regarding work experience and scientific research capacity

- Applicants with a university degree in a field relevant to the chosen specialization can apply immediately after graduation.

- Scientific articles published in ISSN-indexed journals or international ISI/SCOPUS articles or articles presented at national or international conferences or research projects during university studies or work experience.

- For administration and management majors, training follows an applied master's program, and suitable majors at the undergraduate level include those directly related to the professional expertise and career in the field of administration and management.

1.3. Priority Groups

a) Individuals with at least two years of continuous work experience (as of the application deadline) in localities designated as Zone 1 in the current regulations on admission to regular university and college programs. In this case, the candidate must have a decision on acceptance of employment or assignment/secondment from a competent agency or organization;

b) War invalids, those receiving benefits similar to war invalids;

c) Children of martyrs;

d) Heroes of the Armed Forces, Labor Heroes;

e) Ethnic minorities with at least two years of permanent residence in the localities specified in item (a);

e) Children of resistance fighters who were exposed to chemical toxins, recognized by the Provincial People's Committee as having deformities, disabilities, or reduced self-reliance in daily life and studies due to the effects of chemical toxins.

2. Specializations, enrollment quotas according to training programs and training methods

2.1. Specializations

In addition, the University is authorized by the Ministry of Education and Training, under Decision No. 2863/QD-BGDĐT dated August 17, 2017, to conduct joint enrollment with Fooyin University in the Nursing major, Master's level. Students study at Duy Tan University, and the degree is awarded by Fooyin University.

2.2. Enrollment Quota: 625 places

2.3. Training Format and Duration

- Full-time, concentrated training format.

- Training program: Research-oriented or application-oriented.

- Training duration: 1.5-2 years, depending on the program of each major.

3. List of suitable majors for each training program and regulations on cases requiring supplementary courses

Regulations on correct majors, suitable majors, and distant majors for the registered majors and supplementary courses are detailed in the Appendix.

4. Application Documents

- Application form (according to template);

- Curriculum vitae (according to template);

- Certified copy of university diploma;

- Certified copy of foreign language diplomas/certificates (if any);

- Certified copies of decisions regarding assignments and work experience related to the field of study (if any);

- Two copies of published articles (if any: including cover page, table of contents, and article content);

- Health certificate issued by a district-level or higher hospital;

- Legal documents proving eligibility for priority consideration (if any);

- Two 4x6 cm photographs;

- Two stamped envelopes clearly stating the recipient's address.

5. Admission Plan and Methods

5.1. Application Submission Period

- From the date of this announcement until June 30, 2022 (morning: 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM, afternoon: 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM).

- For candidates from other majors applying to the Business Administration major, the deadline for application submission is June 15, 2022.

- Conversion course: From June 20, 2022.

5.2. Admission and Enrollment Dates

- Expected admission dates: July 9-10, 2022

- Announcement of admission results and enrollment: July 15-16, 2022

5.3. Admission Method: Selection based on academic records

Candidates with a degree in a field relevant to the chosen specialization will be considered for immediate admission. Candidates with a degree in a field unrelated to the chosen specialization will participate in a conversion course to ensure they meet the admission requirements.

6. Tuition fees, admission service fees, and other service fees for each academic year and the entire course:
